Are Aleve And Diclofenac Advisable For Sciatic Nerve Pain?
Question: I have sciatic nerve pain and I self medicated with 2 aleve, 2 ibuprofin and 2 diclofenac. is this safe? I feel a little shaky. When can I take more?
Brief Answer:
Please, this is not safe!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this pain. However, these drugs can all cause bleeding in the stomach and you shouldn’t take them together. I will suggest that you stop Aleve and Diclofenac and continue just with Ibuprofen and Tylenol for better pain control. If the pains persists, then talk to your doctor for more potent pain medications.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
