Are All Hypothyroid Issues Caused By Hashimoto's Disease?

Need endocrine evalaution
Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Oops. I had to really scan through your question.
Not all hypothyroidism are due to Hashimotos disease. However, most cases of hypothyroidism are due to it.
It is premature to assume that your pituitary is the culprit just on the base of an eye examination. You need to do an MRI scan of the pituitary . You may also need pituitary hormone testings.
Vitamin D deficiency is very common and is easily treatable.
Even hypothyroidism is a very easy disease to treat.
Google can guide you or misguide you. You need to talk to your endocrinologist and discuss all your problems. He should be able to guide you further. Overtesting can be avoided if you meet an endocrinologist

Endocrinology evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for your comments. You are welcome to discuss further.
As an endocrinologist,my policy would be to take a detailed clinical history and examination , so that we can do focused investigations. An endocrinologist will be able to examine you and derive certain conclusions and based on that, they will do a very focused investigations. In that way, unnecessary tests could be avoided. An endocrinologist will have in depth knowledge about pituitary and thyroid than an internist.
Discuss with your internist and if he thinks that you qualify for an endocrine evaluation, then certainly it is worth it. With the case history what you provided, i feel that you qualify for an endocrinology evaluation.
Not to worry, most of these are easily treatable. You need to relax and take it easy. Please do some yoga or meditation which is helpful.
Kind regards
Binu
