What Causes Weakness In Thighs When Suffering From Seizure?

Friend of mine had a seizure approx 4 years ago at work sitting at his desk no aura no medical problems. MRI and EEG showed nothing went back to work and driving. This past Friday sitting at work hung up phone started turning red made some squeaking sounds employees lowered him to floor called 911. Does not remember anything about phone call or incident no aura. Again MRI shows nothing will be having an EEG in a couple of days. Has weakness upper thighs and of course tired. Bit his tongue but swelling and pain becoming less. No history of seizures in family. Now on medication. Pretty scary after 4 years to have one with no other symptoms or warning..

Hi,

Seizures usually have intense muscle contractions that can lead to muscle cramps. Since most Indians have low vitamin D, that adds to problem of cramps. Please check vitamin D and take supplement after a doctor consultation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
