Are Five Pills Of Wysolone-10 The Same As One Wysolone-50?

Question: I have been prescribed Wysolone 50 mg-5 days,40 mg-4 days,30 mg-3 days,20 mg-2 days.In pharmacies they have got only Wysolone 10 mg and 5 mg.So if i take 5 tabs of wysolone 10 mg,will it be equivalent to taking a wysolone 50 mg tab and likewise?
Kindly advice.

Of course!You are 100 percent correct.50 mg prednisolone(Wysolone) means 5 tablets of 10 mg each and likewise.Keep no confusion about it.

Dear Dr Panwar

Thanks for your detailed reply.I have one more query.I had a mild stroke last month and am currently on stroke medication.(Aspirin,Lipitor,Candesartan,Wysolone,Vitamins & Pantacid).I understand some of these medicines are likely to cause headache.Is it ok to have panadol to counter that headache?
