Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your qyery .
I do not see any reason for you to panic at all.
You had protected inter course.
Your HIV RNA PCR is negative at 13 days.
So it is not due to HIV.
These symptoms are nonspecific and can be due to simple respiratory or viral infection.
These circumvallate papillae can be seen in few individuals and that is not related to HIV.these may be due to acidity stress or nutritional deficiencies. You take multivitamin tablets like A to Z capsules daily one.rinse with warm saline gargles atleadt twice daily.
You are becoming to anxious.forget the episode and do not bother about HIV.
You can get back to me for clarification.
Thank you

The cobas ampliprep /taqman is better equipment and analyser to detect HIV RNA by pcr method.so you need not bother.
The HIV RNA as less as 20 copies is detectable and is usually detectable as early as 3 days. It is better for conclusion after 10 days.
These is a better equipment to detect HIV RNA.
Do do not worry about the test equipment.
Papillae can occur as said earlier due to stress or acidity .do not attach or relate it to hiv and get worried.
