Are Rashes On Body A Symptom Of HIV?

Provide more information, upload Photograph
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX Welcome to healthcaremagic
I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it.
As far as HIV is concerned you don't need to worry because you have ruled it twice, after the risky sexual encounter.
Regarding the rashes, I would be able to guide you better if you can upload a representative picture. In addition to that I would also like to gather more information from you regarding the rashes.
-Are they symptomatic?Are they itchy?
-The distribution of the rashes? Are they localized to a particular area or are they generalized?
-Are they persistent or evanescent?
-Tell me more about the morphology of the rashes. The size, whether raised or flat, color, whether scaly or not etc?
Regards

It is a self limiting condition
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I have reviewed the photograph. You seem to have a condition known as 'Simple Dermographism', which is an absolutely benign condition, seen in a small percent of normal population, and bears no relation whatsoever with HIV. Dermographism is a type of physical urticaria, where stroking of the skin produces this type of reaction, in which the skin becomes raised along the scratch line with surrounding erythema/redness. In some individuals itching is an associated symptom, then it is known as 'Symptomatic Dermographism'
Since you don't have any symptoms therefore you actually don't need to be treated.
Simple Dermographism, is a self limiting condition and usually subsides on its own.
Regards
