Brief Answer:
Not Herpese
Detailed Answer:
Hello , Welcome to HCM. Thanks for writing to us with your health query. I have read your query and understand your concerns. The leison doesnot looks like Herpes. It is most probably a small sebaceous cyst. Herpese leisons have erythema or reddening of skin around them. In your case these are small sebaceous cysts which are harmless. So you need not worry. I hope you found my answer helpful. In case of further query feel free to write. Regards Dr Manisha Jain. OBGY.

I went to the doctor today and she said they were sebaceous cysts. but can they itch before they form because that has happened borfore
Brief Answer:
Precautions advised
Detailed Answer:
Yes dear they can itch from the very start of lesion.
Itching occurs when the skin overlying the lesion stretches so when sebaceous material starts accumulating it first stretches the subcutaneous fat and the skin and eventually a bump is formed.
You need to get a fasting blood sugar test since the cysts have been recurring time and again.
Also keep local area clean and dry and drink a lot of water.
Take care
