Are There Any Interactions Betweeen Hydroxyzine And Pristiq?

Question: Hello, my 22-yr-old son recently had a cholecystectomy after months of cramps, nausea and vomiting with undecided eitiology. He had no gall bladder stones, but an ultrasound detected thickened walls with scar tissues. The XXXXXXX surgeon told me the gallbladder looked "ragged" and definitely needed to be removed. He has now been prescribed Hydroxyzine and Pristiq, which he is taking at bedtime. Are there specific interactions we should be aware of for those medications together? Thank you.

Thickened gall bladder wall with scar cause pain and nausea etc. So it is good the gall bladder is removed.

Hydroxyzine and pristiq don't interact with each other. So these 2 drugs may be taken together safely.

Hydroxyzine may produce side effects like restlessness, muscle twitching, confusion, tremors etc.

Pristiq may produce side effects like sensitivity to light, decreased appetite, sleeplessness etc.
