Are There Any Serious Side Effects From Long Term Use Of Mucinex D?
Question: Is it harmful to take Mucinex D longterm? I am into my 5th. box, straight, of 36 tablets of Mucinex D after being treated in mid March for my worst sinus infection ever! I also use a sinus nose spray. I am still having issues with sinus pain, not severe, and a raw feeling behind my nose and at the top of my throat, and at times, a feeling of pulling in my face.
Brief Answer:
no some serious effects
Detailed Answer:
There are no specific bad side effects of long term use and if you have benefit from it then you should continue taking it. But it would be smart to use as low dosage as possible and stop it from time to time to see if the condition fine without mucinex d.
Wish you good health. Regards
