Are Unilateral Weakness In The Limbs And Ataxia Symptoms Of Stroke?

Question: I am a 61 year old woman-on Friday night I walked home from my uncles house and felt strange on my right side (I don't drink-but I imagine thats how I might feel if I di)-came inside went to the bathroom and found my right side was not working right-very difficult to move my right arm or leg-tried to stand and fell, took about 10 minutes to get up. Looked in the mirror and saw no signs of stroke (smile regular-not crooked) took an aspirin and fell again. no pain anywhere, fell three more times, not really dizzy, just unable to stand. Went to sleep, woke up yesterday but stayed very tired all day-no falling-no pain-just tired-still tired today any Ideas?
Brief Answer:
Get examined and investigated as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Unilateral upper limb and lower limb weakness and ataxia may be stroke symptoms.
Possibility of seizure should be considered too.
You should get examined in an ER and get brain imaging.
EEG may be required too.
Is there any history of diabetes, hypertension, previous transient ischaemia stroke, seizures or loss of consciousness?
Any cardiac illness?
Provide any other treatments if taking.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

My grandmother had 3 tia's my mother developed type 2 diabetes in her 50's and I have untreated high blood pressure. Does this change anything-I haven't seen a doctor in years.
Brief Answer:
Get examined and investigated
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
These are also risk factors for your possibility of stroke besides my previous seizure as discussed earlier.
Untreated hypertension is harmful.
Therefore in my opinion, you shouldn't ignore the present problems. Get examined and evaluated by a neurologist.
