Bleeding Started And Stopped After Taking A MTP KIT. Pregnancy Test Still Positive. Any Advice?
Question: hi good morning, after taking a MTP KIT, bleeding started and stopped , but still on checking the pregnancy with test strip showing positive. kindly advice

The pregnancy test may still show positive since it measures the hormone levels. The levels will gradually reduce. But you should have had a proper bleed. Like a period. It usually may continue for a few days. If you had inadequate bleeding,there may be a chance of incomplete abortion. If you have bled for a few days,then do a usg after 4 weeks to check for products of conception. Dont rely on the urine pregnancy test. A blood test is more accurate.
