Blood Work Done. Knot In Arm Where Blood Was Drawn. Soft And Movable. What Do You Recommend?
Question: Went for blood work this morning. Nurse commented about knot in arm near area where she drew the blood. Never noticed it before. It is soft, moveable and may and inch or so in size. Any thoughts?

Knot over mentioned area may be due to many reasons.
From history it appears that knot is benign in nature and it is in superficial tissues like skin or subcutaneous plane.
It may be lipoma,neurofibroma,lymph node,inflammatory changes etc.
Lipoma consists of fat and is benign in nature.
If it is neurofibroma then similar lesions may be present at other sites also.There are many types of neurofibroma.It is single in your case,so don't worry.
Lymph node enlarges in response to distal infection.
Lesion may be also due to infection at the site.
So,it is not serious at all and you can consult your doctor if needed.
