How To Treat The Lump Under My Breast?

hi i found a small lump under my left breast my g.p said it was a lipoma and left it at that it has got bigger and painful its very un-comfortable when sitting down i also have pain going into my breast every few mins but not lasting long should i be concerned??

Hi,

A lipoma when it gets fibrosed it is called fibroadenoma. It cause pain and sometimes gets infected also. If it is symptomatic then it should be treated. Try some pain killers as far now like paracetamol if it is not subsiding then we need next level of management example surgery. But as far now you need to take an ultrasound breast and diagnose what it is. Depending on it further treatment goes on. It is a treatable lump.
