Brown Patches On Chicks. Applied Adt, Momate, Melacure Forte. Suggest Something For Speedy Recovery.

Thanks for posting your query.
The symptoms that you have mentioned are suggestive of contact dermatitis. Treatment is by oral antihistaminics and topical steroids. Oral antihistaminics relieve itching and you can get them over the counter but some of them may cause drowsiness and hence should be taken under medical guidance. Topical steroids is available by prescription from a dermatologist.
In addition you can apply calamine lotion which will help in soothing the skin and you should take some vitamin C which is a general anti-allergy supplement. It helps stabilize mast cells so they are less likely to release histamine.
Melasma is due to overproduction of melanin by the pigment cells, melanocytes and it is more commonly found in females and effects the forehead, cheeks and nose. Sun exposure even if it is for a short time in your case can be responsible for these symptoms.
To treat these dark patches, apply a good sunscreen with minimum spf 30 atleast half an hour before going out in the sun. Use of a mild cleanseranf if the skin is dry, a light moisturizer. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables especially cabbage, spinach, and other leafy green vegetables and take a daily vitamin supplement. You should also apply almond oil or skin creams containing vit C or K, alpha hydroxyl acids and kojic acid on the dark patches.
However if the symptoms are severe then topical bleaching agents, chemical peels and laser therapy may be needed. These are available only under prescription and hence a dermatologist should be consulted for these treatment options.

Thanks for writing back to me.
You can get chemical peel done from a certified dermatologist. It is of various types depending on the skin type and the condition for which it is done.
Chemical peels are risky and need to be administered by certified dermatologists. The possible complications include prolonged erythema, pigmentary changes, milia (white heads), skin atrophy and textural changes.
