Question : 19 year old daughter is on the following:
Accutane for face
Nitrofurantoin mono 100 mg for uti
Ortho-cyclen .25 mg

Would there be any concern with her taking all three of these pills?

there is some interaction between nitrofurantoin and orthocyclen

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

nitrofurantoin may reduce the effectiveness of orthocyclen. If she's using it as birth control then she should be cautious because orthocyclen may not exert its full potential when used concurrently with nitrofurantoin. No other concerns though.
