Question: I took a 375 mg Naproxen at 9PM for lower back pain. I have a history of Kidney & bladder stones. I don't believe this is a problem and there is no bleeding and the discomfort left quickly. I I now have a 102.7 fever. Can I take a 650mg Acephen suppository to reduce the fever.

Brief Answer:
Yes, not in the same time with Naproxen

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear User ! Thank you for posting your question here .I read your concern and I understand.

Yes you can use Acephen suppository , not in the same time with Naproxen. Take Acephen at least after 10 hours you have taken Naproxen ( cause naproxen stay in the blood for a long time and you may still have the effect of this drug for more than 12 hours ) .
There are no interaction between these 2 drugs .

If you have any side effect :dark urine , abdominal pain ,back pain , vomiting, diarrhea or any others ..call the hospital.

If still have fever consider to be examined by your local doctor to find out the main cause of it and for proper treatment.

Hope I have answered your question .
If you have any further clarifications I will be happy to help .If not you can closse the discussion.
Take Care!
