Can Adderall Be Taken Twice A Day?
Question: can adderall XR 20mg be prescribed twice a day? If so is it commonly written that way? Also would this medication show as positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine on a urine drug test.
Brief Answer:
yes and yes
Detailed Answer:
adderall xr is not normally given twice a day just because we don't. There is the theoretically issue with interferance with sleep BUT ADHD people don't have that problem ...their wiring is abnormal which is why they are ADHD. We don't commonly write it that way, but it can be.
Adderal is amphetamine. As such, yes it will show up on urine tests as amphetamine.

Can levothyroxine 25mg give a false positive on a urine drug test for methamphetamine? What about ranitidine 300mg?
Brief Answer:
here is the best guide

Definitely not levothyroine 25 mg because it is not made and would almost certainly put anyone who took it into the hospital since it is about 1000 times the recommended dose.
the recommended 25 MICROGRAM or 25000 NANOGRAM dose would be expected to give a peak level of 25000 / 10 liter volume of distribution 2500 ng peak (at most). Well, with chronic dosing it isn't totally silly. But they are not very closely related and it isn't commonly mentioned in the literature.
Bear in mind that false positives in dipstick urines for amphetamine family are well known and quite common

and mostly, NOT to known reasons.
