Question: can I take cefuroxime and augmentin together? have an e. coli urinary tract infection. from the lab results.

I am sorry to hear that you have a urinary tract infection. You have been prescribed cefuroxime and augmentin for the infection. The UTI is caused by E. coli and these tow antibiotics will kill it very well. So you can take both or either one alone to resolve your infection.

There is no drug to drug interactions between these two agents
