Can Daclatasvir, Sofosbuvir, Ribavirin And OxyContin Be Taken Together?
Question: i am currently taking daclatasvir, sofosbuvir & ribavirin to treat hep.c. I also have to take oxycontin occasionally for chronic back pain. Is it safe to take these together?
Brief Answer:
It is safe to take them together, however, like anything moderation is key
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back to HCM: The Oxycontin is metabolized in the liver and excreted in the urine, the only scenario that I see is if your hepatitis gets worse causing your liver to hurt more, this will make it vulnerable to toxicity from many medications nit just oxy, therefore I would make all your follow up appointments so that you know how you liver function is proceeding and also follow treatment efficacy.
