Can Doxycycline Be Taken After A Course Of Botox Injections?

Question: I had botox injections 3 days ago but I am leaving in two weeks on a trip where I have to take Doxycycline to prevent malaria. I am super concered that there will be an interaction. Is it safe to take this after botox?

Dear Ms, There is an interaction between Botox and doxycycline .. It can increase the physical impact and side effects of Botox and can lead to frozen muscles.. you should not take doxycycline after Botox .. I hope I answered your question.

Dear Ms, here is a list of drugs that you can take as prophylaxis from malaria :
1) Malarone ( atovaquone/ proguanil) it is a bit expensive but should only started 1-2 days before traveling and is taken daily
2) chloroquine also should be started 1-2 days before traveling and is taken weekly so suitable for long trips
3) mefloquine it should be started 2 weeks before traveling and is taken weekly
