Can Fluticasone Cause High Blood Glucose Levels?

Question: I'm type 2 diabetic. Last HGA1C was 5.6 in March. Glucose levels generally test in the 140 range. Been taking Fluticasone for a case of rhinitis. Yesterday blood sugar was 410 postprandial, today 318. Could the medication be causing this?
Brief Answer:
Yes
Detailed Answer:
Flitucasone can do so. You should see your diabetes care provider immediately for addressing this. If you have symptoms such as shortness of breath , chest pain, nausea , vomiting or changes in your consciousness then you should go to the ER because these are some of the signs of a dangerous complication of diabetes called DKA. ( diabetic keto acidosis). It can be life threatening if not treated quickly.
