Posted on Fri, 20 Nov 2015
Question: Hi: I have had shingles for about three wweeks and they look like they are starting to fade. I have been on Hydrocodone and Ibuprofen for pain. Now I have bee prescribed Gabapentin and I am wondering if I it takes some time for it to start to where I can feel the pain relief. If so, can I still take the Hydrocodone at the same time as I am administering the Gabapentin? I just started taking the Gaba last night and this morning I have pain and wondering what I can take to relieve it somewhat. Nothing seems to take the pain away. I have the 100 mg prescription of Gaba and wondering also if I should take more than once a day as it says on the bottle.
