Can HCQS Be Taken For Gastritis?
Question: My wife is under treatment of gastritis in upper intestine. she has been prescribed HCQS 400 tab and also Gemcal DS. How are these medicines are useful.

HCQS contains Hydroxychloroquine and it is not used for gastritis. It is used for Malaria, Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Gemcal DS is also not used for gastritis.
For gastritis we usually use acid reducing agent like ranitidine, omeprazole and acid neutraliser like antacid.

she is suffering from old DM, gastritis, ulcer in upper abdomen, Remotide arthritis, masculer chest pain, joints and left upper back pain. has been prescribed HCQS 400, PANTOCID 40, GEMCAL DS, GALVUSMET 50/500., LANTAS 20UNT (allOD) , folitrax15, Lumia 60K (both once a week), Folitrax (twice a week) . At present for one month. maybe extended for other 2 months. whether medicines are ok? Any side effect? formation of gas is still happening. 25 days medicine consumed. all the same medicines should be continued or any best medicine for quick relief without or low side effects, please advise. Apart from that avoid spicy food, reduce coffee, tea. Restrict the use of meat , add more fibres to your diet.
