Brief Answer:
No risk of STDs

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern.

There is no risk of STD from either hand massage or from recieving a handjob.
STDs are usually transmitted by sexual contact with an infected partner e.g either vaginal, anal or oral sex and not by massage or hand contact.
There is no need to worry regarding risk of STDs from this particular encounter and therefore no need to screen for STDs.

Brief Answer:
These symptoms could be related to extreme anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Certainly these symptoms are not due to STD.
First of it is not possible to contract an STDs through a contact of non-sexual nature like a body massage or a handjob. STDs are usually acquired by direct sexual contact i.e kind of which involves an act of intercourse or oral form of sexual contact. Moreover, STDs present with distinct signs and symptoms like genital ulcer, urethral discharge, burning micturation, swelling of lymph nodes etc. Weakness and fatigue are non specific symptoms and not suggestive of an STD.
Definitely, extreme anxiety due to constantly worrying about fear of contracting an STD could lead to mental exhaution and lack of interest in doing your routine tasks as well as weakness and fatigue if you do not eat properly.
I reassure you that there is no risk of STD through massage or a handjob. Even your screening tests have come back ok. So you should stop worrying about contracting an STD through that particular encounter and get on with other things in your life.

Brief Answer:
Expect the IgM levels to continue to stay below 0.90

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

As long as the index value, each for IgM and IgG, is less than 0.90, the test is interpreted as negative. If the index value for antibody is between 0.90-1.1, it is interpreted as equivocal and the test is repeated at a later date for a definitive result. Only index value for IgG and IgM above 1.1 is considered positive for herpes.

Does'nt matter if the index for IgM is 0.67, even if it were 0.89, it would have still been interpreted as negative as long as it is less than 0.90. IgM index indicates early/ recent infection with herpes (reliable only during the first 3-4 weeks of new infection) and the levels of IgM would anyways fall after 4 weeks of a new herpes infection. Since you have an IgM value at 4 weeks, less than 0.90, you are likely to be free of herpes.

Hence, you can expect the IgM levels to continue to stay below 0.90 i.e negative.

My last question. Further testing is required. If she has a herpes on her hand it can be transmitted. I studied in net that herpes will not be on the hands.
With only one encounter it is possible. After 4-5 days of massage I got 2 pimples on head of penis. At that time am having chicken pox. After 2 days pimple cured automatically it is chicken pox or herpes

Brief Answer:
No possibility of herpes

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

No further testing is required. Herpes virus does not survive outside the body and it is not possible to transmit herpes through hands. Pimples on penis were certainly not due to herpes. Chicken pox can have mucosal lesions i.e on oral mucosa or on genital mucosa.
