Can Hydralazine Cause Swollen Feet And Leg?
Is swelling of feet or lower legs a side effect of hydralazine?
Yes hydralazine plus obesity plus high BP
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and I understand your concern. Yes peripheral edema also called swelling of feet and extremeties is attributed to hydralazine and one of its common side effects. However it may not be the only side effect I'm your case.
High blood pressure and very morbid obesity of 450 pounds may be significant risk factors.
Bring these two entities down and the issue of peripheral edema along with many other problems poof away. Talk to your doctor and let them decide whether they want to continue with hydralazine or replace your medications.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me
I believe of all other options hydralazine is easy to get rid of and replaced with another antihypertensive if need be. But your doctor has to decide as his decisions matter more than mine.
You will need a lot of effort to combat weight as well as smoking habits to get a full recovery. Sign up to FDA approved weight loss program. Follow Atkin diet or any other diet plan.
I hope it helps.
