Brief Answer:
Pricking may be due to vitamin deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX and welcome back,
I understand that you have done your thyroid and CBC. Other hormones to be tested include
prolactin, FSH and LH, and insulin to be tested on day 1 of the periods. I assume that they must be normal since you did not mention them. If they have not been tested, get them tested. A blood sugar evaluation is also needed.
The tightness in abdomen may be due to gases or
indigestion. B long causes nausea in some people.
The
hemoglobin is a bit on the lower side, but 11 and up is OK. The tingling in legs may be due to
vitamin B12 and
folate deficiency. This also explains the hemoglobin as deficiency of these two causes anemia. So you may start vitamin B complex tablets or supplements. Make sure it contains Vit B12 [cyanocobalamine] and
folic acid or folate [already present in b long]. You will need to stop B long and take b complex vitamins as they will provide all the other b group vitamins and also help correct anemia. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and sprouts as they are rich in
B vitamins. Another reason for tingling could be raised blood sugar, so check the sugar.
The scanty period, if this was a one time occurrence that happened in this period only, get a pregnancy test as it may be due to pregnancy. If these have become a routine since the past few cycles, PCOD may be responsible for it.
I also suggest an ovulation study as the main problem with PCOD is non ovulation and women attempting pregnancy may need ovulation inducing drugs to get pregnant in addition to drugs for hormones.
Hope this helped.
Please feel free to ask any more queries that you may have. Do not worry as worry delays the period and stress is an important cause of PCOD.
You have had a pregnancy before, so you have excellent chances of getting pregnant again.
