Can I Take Paracetamol For Mild Fever And Body Ache During Pregnancy?

Question: Dear Doctor, my wife is 21 weeks pregnant. She is 30 years old and has mild fever, cold and body ache. We are in the UK. Can she take Paracetamol ? else kindly suggest a medicine.

Detailed Answer: Dear Sir, Thank you for posting your query on XXXXXXX Well looking into your problem I will like to tell you that Paracetamol is generally believed to be safe for use in pregnancy but she should keep its use to minimum possible or as her doctor has suggested .It is used in all stages of pregnancy and is the preffered drug of choice.
