Brief Answer: XXXXXXX 30 mg; no gap required; zopiclone strongest Detailed Answer: Hello sir/ma'am and welcome. Thank you for writing to us. I understand you are having a tough time sleeping, and I am really sorry to hear about this. But I shall provide you with both information that you have asked for and information that you should know about the drugs you have mentioned above. Temazepam can firstly be taken up to dosages of 30 mg; you have taken 1 and a half tablet which is about 15 mg. But, you should know that temazepam is a medication that helps improve your mood, making you feel relaxed and preventing you from thinking about anything that could prevent you from sleeping peacefully. It does not put you to sleep, so you may not get the 'knocked out' or good sleep feeling because of this drug. It should only help to make you feel elated. This medication is addictive, and should also only be used for a short period of time, which should be enough for you to overcome your fears or grief. As for zopiclone, which belongs to the 'Z' group of drugs; this medication is responsible to help improve sleep and may give you the 'knocked out' feeling, and also help in making you sleep better. But, this medication is highly addictive; and I would advise you against it, as I have personally seen many patients who have regretted being put on the drug, even for periods as short as 7 days. In medicine though, the medication can be prescribed for a period of 2-3 weeks, not longer; due to dependence and withdrawal issues. I would say that zopiclone itself is a very strong medication, and would not be able to recommend anything stronger than this sir/ma'am. If you are really struggling with sleep, then with the help of your doctor you can use zopiclone, but for a very short period of time, as I am worried about addiction. And as for your question about the gap or how far apart you can take these two drugs; they can even be taken together sir/ma'am. So you need not worry about a time gap between them, although I would advise against taking them together. I hope you found my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you. God bless you sir/ma'am.

Can you take twmazepam during the day to help with anxiety?

Brief Answer: Unfortunately temazepam helps treat only insomnia Detailed Answer: Hello once again. Temazepam is mainly used in patients suffering from insomnia (sleeplessness) due to either stress, previous bitter experiences, mental trauma, etc; as it does not exactly improve the quality of sleep, but helps in improving your mood just before you sleep, making you feel happy, and in turn preventing you from thinking about anything that could keep you up at night; which is why it is advised to take the medication just before sleeping at night and not during the day time. It is also a medication advised for a short period of time (7-10 days), not longer; considering its addictive nature. Other than insomnia, temazepam has not shown to help any other conditions; and so I would have to say that this medication may not help to treat your anxiety sir/ma'am. Sertraline is the right and accurate treatment for anxiety, but it takes time to take effect and show an obvious response. I hope you found my response helpful and informative. Wishing you nothing but good health. Best wishes.

does anxiety get worse when you first start taking sertraline?

Brief Answer: From patient feedback I would have to say: Yes Detailed Answer: Hello once again. This is a very common question, and although documentation does not support this; but from feedback received from my patients I would have to say that this is commonly encountered. Anxiety does get a little worse with sertraline, but slowly/gradually improves. But, if at all, you do not experience an improvement within a duration of 6-12 weeks, then you should report to your prescribing doctor for a change in your treatment regimen. I hope this makes things more clear sir/ma'am. I am of course, always available for any further assistance. Best wishes.

Brief Answer: I understand, but best to be patient Detailed Answer: Hi. I understand how this can be really frustrating, but I am saying this out of concern for you, but just to make things better I would not like to advise the medications that can provide you with temporary relief, and get you hooked on to them for life. This would be ethically incorrect. So my advise as a doctor and a well wisher would be to be patient, and try your best to be calm and indulge in physically exhausting exercise and other similar activities that should hopefully help you to get some sleep. My best wishes and nothing less. Please feel free to write to me for any further clarifications or information, please do not hesitate at all. Best wishes.
