Can Ibprofen Be Taken With A Muscle Relaxer?

Question: hi my name is XXXX, my question is the following . can itake a 800mg Ibprofen with a muscle relaxer? its methocarbamol750mg. my theeth and gum pain is intense tonight

Hi,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic.
Ibuprofen 800mg is double the recommended dose for pain and is higher than the manufacturer's recommended dose. You are unlikely to have any greater pain relief with 800mg than you would with 400mg and you will potentially exceed the recommended daily dose.
It is safe to take 400mg with methocarbamol 750 for your pain. You could also consider acetaminophen together with ibuprofen.
