Can Ibuprofen Cause Kidney Damage?

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
Nonsteroid antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like Ibuprofen have been directly associated with kidney damage as they might causea type of inflammation called. However that is in people who have chronic issues and have been using NSAIDs at high doses for months or years. I do not think the dosage you took it was high and I do not think 10 days are enough for that either. However when there is already a kidney damage they might worsen it as they reduce blood flow. So they might have had a partial effect, but that was on an already impaired kidney.
As for the seizure issue, the list of medication which has been related to seizures is really long, some cases have been reported with NSAIDs as well (Ibuprofen, meloxicam, naproxen etc). However these cases are really rare, it is not a common side effect.
Among other types of pain killers opiates (oxycodone, hydrocodone, tramadol etc)have been linked to seizures but only at very high dosages, not at the common therapeutic ones.
The safest pain killer to be used for seizure prone patients is acetaminophen (Tylenol).
