Can LDN For Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Worsen Anxiety Attacks?
Question: My doctor has me on LDN to treat CFS. I take a dose of 4.5 mg daily. Recently when dealing with severe panic attacks, I took Kavinace, which has Theanine and Pheibut in it. I had severe reaction to the supplement, including light-headedness, nausea, headache, overall weakness, and at one point, chest pain. I tried various doses of the Kavinace over a two week period of time. Then stopped taking it altogether. Is there a drug interaction between the two? Also, can LDN cause an increase in anxiety?
Brief Answer:
no anxiety inducing risk in LDN
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Kavinace and LDN dose not have much interactions. You did not tolerate Kavinace, it is wise that you have stopped it.
LDN has been recently studied and has been found to be effective for chronic fatigue syndrome..
Albeit it is slow acting and needs to be taken on regular basis for long duration.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
