I have had an ulcer for about 4-5 weeks. being treated with protonix. It was caused by Naproxen. my tongue and lower gums are where the taste seems to come from.
I have a headache. I get headaches alot and used to have seizures. No seizure for about 6 years
I have fibromyalgia. I have digestive problems. Anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, PMDD, urinary frequency, almost all of the symptoms that come along with the diagnosis of fibro.
It has been about 5 days. I don't eat onion, because it bothers my stomache.
I sent the answers back 2 hours ago. when am I going to be getting a response?

Hello and welcome.
Thanks for sharing your concern.
I would like to answer your query one by one.
1.Lexapro does not have side effects on teeth directly. Therefore it cannot cause foul odour.
2.Continuous headache along with foul odour is also very common due to sinusitis. Therefore please get it examined once. Also discuss with your physician regarding gastritis as a causative agent for halitosis(bad breath).
3.Altered taste can also occur due to calculus(hard deposits) deposition on your lower teeth. In that case please visit your dentist and get it cleaned. In every six months scaling(cleaning) should be done.
4.Some times the saliva gets viscous due to many drugs intake and therefore causes dryness, even this can lead to altered taste. Therefore you must take plenty of fluids and nutritious diet.
5.Warm saline rinses helps a lot in maintaining the oral hygiene on day to day basis. Therefore please do that.
6.Please remember altered taste is a symptom and not a disease therefore regular care and symptomatic treatment is necessary in this case.
See your dentist for routine check up.Get cleaning done and this should help. Also see your physician once and discuss sinusitis and gastritis.Keep a close watch on symptoms and it should improve.
Please let me know for further doubts.
Thanks.
Take care.
