Hello,

Your symptoms are indicative of laryngitis / pharyngitis that is causing difficulty in talking, eating, etc. Inflammation associated with red spots in the mucosa of the throat and yellow bloody mucus is due to bacterial infection. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT to detect infection and tonsillitis / pharyngitis, etc. Get swab tests, sputum test, blood and imaging tests done to detect the pathology so that treatment can be started at the earliest.

You are suggested voice rest. Take semi solid food like oats meal or custard/porridge so that your throat is not hurt. Gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times a day. You may need a course of oral antibiotics like Augmentin and analgesic, naproxen/acetaminophen, one SOS when pain. Take antihistamines at bed time to ease discomfort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
