Can Libotryp Be Taken For A Long Duration?
Question: I'm taking libotryp once at night since two years, I'm not getting sound sleep without the libotryp, is there is any harm continuing further
Brief Answer:
Yes there is harm
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
Libotryp is scheduled H drug and should not be used without supervision of doctor. There is good chance that you are addicted to it and in the future it could have serious consequences for you. The complications include memory loss, falls and fractures, rebound anxiety, seizures among others.
In my opinion you should see a doctor for deaddiction of libotryp and treatment of insomnia in right manner.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
Follow up
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for follow up.
If your doctor considers it necessary for you, I do not think there is problem. It means that the risk of continuing medication is less than the risk on stopping.
However I will advise you discuss in detail with your doctor on next visit about the risks and benefits for better understanding.
I hope this answers you further.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
