Posted on Thu, 5 Jan 2017
Question: Hi, I gave my 2 yr old Motrin and four hours later gave him another dose. I think I was thinking about Tylenol being 4 hrs but it should have been 6 hrs. Will he be ok?

Brief Answer:
It will be ok

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Although ideally Motrin is given at a gap if 6 hours, it would not cause any harm if a dose is given at an interval of 4 hours.

Tylenol can be given at 4 hourly intervals if necessary.

Regards
