Norethisterone is a synthetic form of progesterone and used to treat certain menstrual disorders.

For abortion, antiprogestogen like mifepristone and prostaglandin drug like misoprostol is used.

MTP kit after pregnancy is confirmed

Detailed Answer:
First, confirm pregnancy by a urine pregnancy test.

If confirmed, you can use MTP kit for abortion under doctor's supervision.

It consists of mifepristone and misoprostol.

Take Mifepristone 200mg one tablet orally followed by 4 tablets of misoprostol (200mcg) placed vaginally 1-3 days later.

The bleeding should start after 4-6 hours of taking tablets and slight bleeding can continue for upto 2 weeks.
You can go for a ultrasound after 14 days to confirm abortion.

But kindly take these tablets only under your doctor's supervision.
