Posted on Wed, 9 Dec 2015
Question: I take aspirin 325 and plavix as prescribed by my doctor. I just had dental implants and was prescribed supradol ( ketorlaco) by a dentist in Mexico. Is that ok to take with what I already take? If not what do you recommend for pain?.

Brief Answer:
should not be used, increased risk of bleeding

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

NO, it would be best not to use any additional doses of this medication along with your other medications.

Ketorolac is an NSAID and would increase the risk of bleeding especially when combined with aspirin and plavix.
Other NSAIDS that should not be used either eg ibuprofen, naproxen, celebrex, cataflam etc

You would need to use a pain killer that does not belong to this class of drugs eg paracetamol, codeine, tramadol or one of the stronger opiates
This class of medication would not be associated with a bleeding risk

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
