First of all regarding insomnia with wellbutrin, it is common side effects during initial weeks of treatment. In my experience there is almost 5-10 % risk of developing insomnia with wellbutrin.
Regarding alcohol it should be avoided as far as possible. I must acknowledge that there is no major tisk but substance along with medication never recommended.

Re EGD's, for those who need treatment on their esophagus in that way, do you think EGDs are important to have for safety? &, More important, can the EGD help nausea or queasiness? Thank you

Regarding your current question I do not think EGD can help in nausea and queasiness. This is because EGD is diagnostic procedure and have little role in treatment of minor conditions such as nausea or queasiness.
At the same time EGD have clear indications and If somebody needs treatment over eosophagus, it can be used to ensure safety.
