Should you see one? And what if there wasnt one?
Brief Answer:
Structures seen are important
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply :
1) On transvaginal ultrasound scan, You should be able to see a gestational sac, yolk sac and fetal pole.
2) If you are able to see all these, then measurement of CRL ( crown rump length) has to be checked. This should correspond to 6+ weeks.
3) You should be able to see heart beat. It is difficult to identify unless person is trained well in it.
4) I suggest you repeat transvaginal ultrasound scan after one week if you are not able to identify heart beat now. It would be more clear to identify heart beat then.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards

All of those were seen, sac, fetal pole, and yolk sac. A possible flicker was seen but no heart beat. Thoughts?
Brief Answer:
Wait for a week
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In that case heart beat is likely to be seen well by next week. This appears to be live pregnancy but not seen due to technical reasons.
