General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The present pregnancy with absent fetal pole suggests a chemical pregnancy without formation of a fetus. It happens by chance &need not be repeated in future. So this pregnancy needs to be terminated automatically or surgically. In future, you would have a chance to give birth to a baby.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
