Hello xxxxxx

I can understand feeling apprehensive before a dental or medical procedure!

It is possible to have an allergy to any medication, but if you didn't have a reaction to the local anesthetic last time, you are most likely to be ok (no reaction).

Do you have allergies to any medications similar to the local anesthetic? Also, do you have any allergies to other medications or foods?

Its when you read internet it says rare cases local anasthtic can give you allergic reaction and send you in cardiac arrest

Hi xxxxx,

Reading the internet medical sites can cause a lot of anxiety. Various website, such as WebMD and medications websites can be helpful for providing basic information and that's good, but they also include things that are hard to sort out in terms of whether they apply to a person or not.

Here is something to keep in mind which may make you feel better. The dentist who will be doing the root canal is also experienced in anesthesia and it's potential side effects. If you were to have a severe allergic reaction, the dentist would give you epinephrine to prevent serious consequences.

But it is very unlikely to happen, and you should be fine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxx,

I'm glad your procedure went well today.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about the procedure for hair transplantation or the medications involved. I recommend you repost your question as a separate question and in the first line write "FOR DERMATOLOGIST (HAIR TRANSPLANT) ONLY" and a dermatologist will respond.

Rest up from your root canal now, and best regards.
