Question: Is it okay to take preceptor that has expiry date of 10/13 on the label
Brief Answer:
Expired medication should not be used
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
No, the medication should not be used if it expired on 10/13. Expired medication can have low efficacy and additional adverse effects that are often unpredictable related to its components. You should get a refill arranged, instead.

Hello again.
Thanks for uploading the image.
If the rash is localized to this area and is painful then herpes zoster is more likely. However, as per your description the rash is not localized and is spreading to other regions which makes urticaria the likely diagnosis. Benadryl and prednisone are fine for the time being. They should be continued. If the rash gets more extensive with severe itching then you should probably go to an ER to get injectable steroid and antihistamine shot for adequate relief.
