Brief Answer:
there is a risk of bleeding

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magc

The anti inflammatory pain meds would be associated with an increased risk of bleeding if used with xarelto.

The anti coagulant xarelto is associated with a risk of bleeding on its own.

According to a medical study released in a medical magazine called JAMA, the use of the typical anti inflammatory (ibuprofen, naproxen, indomethacin, cataflam etc) with xarelto can cause a 2.4 increase in the risk of bleeding .

This means the the risk of bleeding is 2 times more in persons who use xarelto with one of these medications.

It is possible that you use one of these and not have any bleeding at all but you would have to use it knowing that bleeding can occur and monitor for any indications of bleeding eg dizziness and weakness due to low blood pressure, blood in stool/vomit or nasal bleeding, increased pulse rate, chest pain, clammy

The only alternative would be paracetamol or pain meds such as codeine or tramadol but these are not anti inflammatory though they may help with pain

Summary: (1) anti inflammatory pain medication may cause bleeding with xarelto so you would have to use knowing there is an increased risk of bleeding

(2)paracetamol, codeine or tramadol can be used but these are not anti inflammatory though may help with pain

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
