Can Anxiety, Depression And High BP Cause Dizziness?
Question: Why do I feel drunk, when I have not had any alcohol? I have untreated anxiety, depression, allergies from pollen, and treated high blood pressure. can any of these issues cause dizziness?
Brief Answer:
anxiety or hypertension can be the cause.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.
Anxiety and high blood pressure both can cause dizziness.
As you have mentioned that your blood pressure is treated, the chances of this causing dizziness directly is less.
Anxiety can be the cause as it can physiologically raise blood pressure by stimulating sympathetic nervous system. This can cause dizziness.
Kindly discuss this with your doctor.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
Thanks.
