Brief Answer:
Yes it can

Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.

The fact remains that in a person with degeneration of the disc, the nerve roots coming out of the spine may get compressed.
So, if you have degeneration of the discs at neck as well as back, it is possible to have the symptoms.

However, one sided symptoms should always be tested for stroke with an MRI brain.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will help you find the best solution. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
