Can Endometriosis Affect Pregnancy?
Question: Hiii.. I ve underwent my 2nd ivf with 3 day good grade 1 embryos . This is my 11th day post transfer. Doc said that I have endometriosis. I have epigastric tightness before my period which becomes painful during the period. Thought it's probably due to endometriosis. Now since 8 th day I have this slight discomfort but not significant. But I'm worried. Does the endometrial tissue be stimulated and lead to discomfort if I'm pregnant? There are no other symptoms like cramps which I usually get before my period.
Brief Answer:
Endometriosis will not affect pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
Endometriosis or Endometrial tissue outside uterus is not going to affect pregnancy. If your IVF is successful, Your pregnancy will be fine and will not be at risk due to endometriosis.
These cramps and slight discomfort now are not due to endometriosis.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
