General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Embryo transfer has been done in uterus. It involved handling and instrumentation at mouth of uterus. This can cause the pain you have. The process also involves loading with pregnancy helping hormone which also affect all genitals including breast. So you have breast symptoms. Treating expert must have included medication for these post procedure symptoms so you should take rest, continue taking medicines exactly as advised. No massage or fomentation to be done. You can have telephonic advise from the treating expert &see her personally if advised so.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
