Can Herpes Test Detect HIV?

if a herpes test is conducted does it look for hiv too?The reason I am asking this question is because I have a small boil on my penis meatus. The doctor initially could not see it hence gave me those prescriptions. Today he prescribed Fusibact B cream and XXXXXXX Flam 50 mg since it is two weeks now and I have this burning sensation on the tip of my penis. No discharge or any sort of pain. In addition I did have a massage two weeks back where I was completely naked and the lady gave me a hand job which resulted in me ejaculating. The next day I had sex with a sex worker and used a condom. I checked the condom after sex and there was no tear, please advise on my query.
Regarding your complaint related to STD screening and meatal burning
Detailed Answer:
hello. Thank you for writing to us.
I am Dr. Kakkar (Dermatologist & Venereologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern and i have also viewed the image.
A blood test for Herpes does not automatically test for HIV unless specifically requested for. The nature of physical contact that you mentioned does not pose any risk of HIV as a condom provides good enough barrier against transmssion of HIV as well as gonorrhea and chlamydia. Risk of HPV, syphilis and genital herpes though reduced is not entirely prevented by a condom. A handjob is entirely safe.
The meatus looks pretty normal to me in this image. Perhaps it is a little inflammed from harsh cleaning/ soaps etc. I suggest a urine routine microscopy to rule out a urinary tract infection and advice you to use just plain lukewarm water to clean the area. Avoid soaps etc.
Regards

What could be the cause of the burning sensation?
In addition in the picture do u notice a small boil on the meatus of my penis. Are these any signs of any STD?I have added a new pic highlighting the small boil
Doesn't look like an STD
Detailed Answer:
Thank you.
The meatus looks pretty normal. Perhaps a little inflammation which may be due to soap etc otherwise those are normal meatal lips. Doesn't look like any STD. Infkammatio. of anterior urethra/ meatus due to an STD usually presents with discharge and/ or pain and meatal swelling/ edema. Also it is highly unlikely that genital herpes would present with just burning sensation on meatus that would continue for 2 weeks but without any visible sores or pain.

Do I need to see a dermatologist?
Do I need to continue with Fusibact B cream, after applying on the meatus it give a burning sensation, today is the first day I applied it after the doctor prescribed it.
What do you recommend in addition to avoiding soaps?
I re sent a pic of the penis highlighting the boil did u re look at that boil, apologies with my number of questions.
Continue with the cream
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I feel that you should continue with the cream prescribed by your physician for a few days. The reason it burned a little on first application is because that area is already inflammed. This cream is a combination of topical steroid and topical antibiotic and is a good empirical choice based on your symptoms that are not very specific to a particular cause. The burning sensation could be because of inflammation due to trauma, irritants, friction/ rubbing against clothing etc. No specific precautions other than avoiding soap.
