Question : later today I am to have eye lid surgery. I am belching constantly. Do I need to break fast to deal with it?

must not drink or eat 6 hours prior to surgery

Detailed Answer:
If this is done under general anesthesia then you must not drink or eat 6 hours prior to surgery. If not,then try to drink menta tea or take antacids. In every case it shouldn't interfere with surgery and shouldn't cause any problems. Wish you good health.
