Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Hope you have recovered from the stomach infection.

1. Due to the stomach infection and vomiting, you might have ended up not having proper meals. This can lead to fecal impaction and constipation in some patients recovering from a stomach infection.

2. You can take a mild laxative tonight to help you with your bowel movement. Since you have slowly returned to taking light meals tonight, with some turkey and vegetables, it is possible that you might have a normal bowel movement tomorrow and taking a mild laxative will help this to happen.

3. Please continue taking lots of fluids throughout the day. Drinking adequate amounts of water and fresh juices will help to keep you hydrated.

4. Remember to take more fruits and vegetables in the coming days to restore your bowel movements.

Wishing you a quick recovery.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
